Mike and Natalie met Chuck and Jan McNamee of Windfall Mastiffs about three years ago in the Southpark Mall parking lot after the Crown Classic dog show. As we were driving by we saw these huge dogs and decided to pull over and talk. At the time, our chocolate boy, Dutch was getting older and we started researching what our next breed would be. In the summer of 2004, we lost our baby Dutch, and after three months decided to give Chuck and Jan a call. They suggested that we come to the Annual Mastiff picnic to meet different mastiff owners and get acquainted with the breed. Of course, that is all we needed. We immediately fell in love and now we are the owner of our first mastiff, Conan.
Webb and Joan have always had a soft spot for all animals both pure breed and rescue. Webb, President of the Lorain County Animal Shelter and Joan, a past Lorain County Humane Officer spend many volunteer hours working to protect and keep all animals safe and secure. In 2002, they purchased their first mastiff, Gulliver. Webb met Chuck and Jan McNamee of Windfall Mastiffs around the time that they purchased Gulliver. With their deep love of animals, in December 2004, Webb and Joan and Webb's daughter Cenzie decided to bring another mastiff baby into their life. In February, their new boy Thunder came into their family's home. Webb also is the handler for Thunder and many other mastiffs.
Mike, Nat, Joan, Webb met in February of 2005, when picking up their new sons. We have been great friends ever since. Conan and Thunder have basically grown up together and get along great!
